The stadium was built for both the football and soccer. I see no problem with being here for the next decade or so. It has been a huge success for the league, the team, and of course the fans.

our “little team” has been around for 5 times less than your all powerful DC United. so yeah, we only have three championships, but all of those 3 are US Open. 3 times, in a row. Suck it. Oh yeah, Sounders: 2nd team to ever win in Mexico, set all-time league records for average home attendance (38,496), 3rd largest crowd ever in a MLS game, every home game soldout, league leading season ticket sales, and gone in the playoffs each 3 years. Plus, we’ve outscored DC 9-6. Ouch.
Seattle should build their own stadium, they could have a very special stadium.

In SPORTS the best teams OF ALL TIME are decided by titles, I agree. However, the game has changed and evolved since the last time DC won, and it looks like they haven’t caught up. Actually Texas A&M is the original 12th man also, get your facts right.

Not counting when we open up the entire stadium. We have NEVER not had a sellout. Freddy montero is over-rated? Look at his stats and tell me over-rated.
