Seattle Sounders draw game

Seattle Sounders managed to salvage an important draw in the closing stage of the game against LA Galaxy thanks to a goal from Lamar Neagle.

LA Galaxy started the game the better side and managed to create the best opportunities of the game. Seattle Sounders will struggle to cope with the visitors attack and will naturally concede a goal in the 25th minute of the match. Gyasi Zardes will score a wonderful goal on a header from a cross from LA Galaxy midfielder Alessandrini.

LA Galaxy will control the game until half-time with Seattle Sounders failing to create any dangerous opportunities for them.

However Seattle Sounders will improve after the break and will go in search of an equalizer. However they will be let down by poor decision making in the final third of the pitch and when they finally managed to create a clear-cut opportunity they will find the LA Galaxy goalkeeper in front of them.

LA Galaxy was content to sit back and allow Seattle Sounders to attack them and they will ultimately pay for it when Lamar Neagle scored the important goal in the 85th minute of the match. This will be a great achievement for Seattle Sounders who has lost their striker Jordan Morris due to an injury in the second half.

Seattle Sounders will even end the game with 10 men when Roman Torres will be sent off in the 89th minute of the match.

The Seattle Sounders coach said that he is happy with the result considering the match and how they started it. He said that a draw is always better than a defeat and that this gives them a foundation to build on. He believes that they could have won the game if the strikers were a bit more clinical in front of goals.
